Is it possible to learn to dance?
Dancing is as easy as walking when you are taught by a seasoned professional. Thousands have been successfully trained by Dancin' Ballroom Dance Studio. There is no limit as to how much you can learn. Some of our students are over 70 but the great majority are in their 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's.
2. How
long will it take?
The length of the program depends on how many dances you would like to
learn and how proficient you would like to become in each dance. However, you
will be able to dance after your first lesson.
3. Is your
method of teaching simple?
Yes, we will teach easy and basic movements from which all the
dances are derived. We follow a curriculum which is very clear and
comprehensive. You will have lots of fun during the learning process.
4. How
much are lessons going to cost?
The cost depends on a number of factors: How good you want to be, what
dances you want to learn, the number of days and weeks in your dance schedule,
etc. After your first lesson, your instructor will be in a better position to
recommend a program and you will have the knowledge to make an intelligent and
informed decision.
5. Do I have to
pay for my lessons before I take them?
Yes, Dance Schools are like academic programs, you must pay your tuition before you can take classes. However, there are several convenient methods of payment available: monthly or in advance. We accept payments online, VISA, MC, Discover, American Express, cash or check.
6. Will
your introductory lesson teach me how to dance?
It will introduce you to the basics in the
dances of your choice. Learning to dance smoothly and comfortably takes time.
7. Will I learn the latest steps?
Yes, you can learn the hottest steps in any or all of the social or nightclub
dances - Salsa, Swing, Cha Cha, Merengue, Ballroom, Latin, Wedding Dances,
Rumba, Waltz, Slow Dance etc.
8.
Would
I be able to take my lessons at a time convenient to me?
Yes, We work around your schedule. Take your lessons any time from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Saturdays by special arrangement.
9. Will I have a good instructor?
Absolutely! The teachers selected for you must complete an arduous training program to become instructors. They are certified, and have enjoyed their membership in The National Dance Council of America (N.D.C.A.)
10. What
kind of benefits can I expect from dancing?
Dancing
will enhance your social life. Good dancing leads to fun, poise, confidence,
fitness and new friends. Therefore, learning to dance can
be the investment of a lifetime.
